FREEVERSE PRESENTS:
The Artist Blueprint is FreeVerse Presents’ new monthly youth artist development workshop series, created to give emerging artists the tools, community, and space to strengthen both their craft and their journey as artists.
Each month, the evening’s FreeVerse Presents featured artist will step into the classroom before stepping onto the stage, leading an intimate workshop rooted in their own creative practice, experience, and expertise.
The Artist Blueprint is open to young artists ages 13–25 and is completely free to attend. Whether you’re a poet, writer, musician, performer, multidisciplinary artist, or simply beginning to explore your creative voice, this space is for you.
Workshops take place once a month from 4:30–5:30 PM at 26 Court Street in Downtown Boston, directly before FreeVerse Presents. Registered participants will meet at Government Center at 4:15 PM and walk over to the workshop together.
And the learning doesn’t have to end when the workshop does. Participants are encouraged to join us afterward at FreeVerse Presents, where youth who feel inspired can take what they’ve been developing in the workshop and share it on the open mic.
Capacity is limited, and because space is intentionally small, please register only if you plan to attend. We hope to build a consistent cohort of young artists who join us month after month as we continue developing, creating, and growing together.
